We have an immediate position available for an Order Qualification Specialist that will be responsible for inbound calls from hospitals, physician’s offices, various other clinical facilities, and customers regarding Order Service. This position provides assistance to customers through the ordering process and provides status updates.  The Order Qualifying Specialist is also responsible for processing paperwork in a timely manner into our internal computer system. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to take on non-routine tasks.

We are here to assist with consultation, selection and fitting of products, training and instruction.

Core Responsibilities:

·         Working with individual branches to ensure proper paperwork/documentation has been received

·         Ensure accurate paperwork

·         Working reports which include: prior authorization, open orders, billing, expiring reports

·         Understanding all workflow management and billing software

·         Understanding the full revenue cycle of billing from intake to receipt of payment

Additional Responsibilities

·         Responsible for receiving and processing telephone and fax requests from referral sources and patients to provide accurate billing durable medical equipment

·         Responsible for verifying all pertinent intake information to process orders accurately and efficiently

·         Familiar with and understanding of insurance requirements

·         Maintain working relationship with internal customers, doctor offices and referral sources

·         Answer multi-line phone system efficiently and direct the caller to the correct person and/or department they need

·         Meeting and making a connection with customers, asking questions and listening to needs, then giving options and advice on meeting those needs

·         Develop product knowledge by reading current vendor tags and pamphlets and attending training classes in order to communicate it to the customer

·         Complete accurate insurance verification and updating patient files

·         Discretion in handling and communicating sensitive information

·         Other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

Skills and Qualifications

·         1 year of customer service or comparable experience

·         Must be dedicated to providing outstanding customer service

·         Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions and correspondences

·         High level of attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently and in team environment

Preferred Qualifications

·         Previous durable medical equipment (DME) experience is preferred
