Major Medical is currently accepting resumes for an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) supporting Metro Denver and surrounding areas. The ATP requires knowledge of wheeled mobility systems, seating and positioning, ambulation assistance, environmental control and assistance in daily living. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills as well as excellent Customer Service skills and strong sales, marketing. Other duties include education for both professional and nonprofessional caregivers. Please send your cover letter and resume.

Our home medical equipment and respiratory experts are here to evaluate customers’ individual needs, and help them find the most beneficial products and services. We are here to assist with consultation, selection and fitting of products, training and instruction.

Core Responsibilities include:

·         Evaluates customers Rehab equipment needs, delivers and fits equipment, and assures that functional goals established at the evaluation are met.

·         Orders appropriate products and equipment for customers.

·         Provides products and equipment to customers and assures proper instruction on use and care of the product and equipment.

·         Provide general repairs to rehab equipment and products, appropriately set-up, assemble, and program rehab equipment as trained by manufactures recommendations

·         Assists customer service in obtaining necessary information to qualify orders.

·         Establishes relationships with physicians and other health care providers to increase positive exposure to increase sales for Rocky Mountain Medical Equipment.

·         Keeps up-to-date with changes within the industry

·         Maintains certifications and licenses

 

·         Required Skills & Experience

·         RESNA certified

·         Other duties as assigned

 

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

·         Previous durable medical equipment (DME) experience is preferred

·         Preferably with 3-5 years of experience in complex rehab

·         Must be dedicated to providing outstanding customer service

·         Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions and correspondences

·         High level of attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently and in team environment

·         Proficient with basic software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Skills/Qualifications:

·         Ability to organize, monitor, and track numerous ongoing activities

·         Ability to logically solve problems with little supervision

·         Discretion in handling and communicating sensitive information

·         Ability to interface with customers, and office staff required

·         Ability to read, write and understand documents, correspondence, and memos required

·         Ability to effectively present information one-to-one and in group situations to customers, clients, and other employees in the organization required

·         Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form required

·         Critical thinking skills required
