Major Medical is currently accepting resumes for a Sleep Technician supporting the Denver office and surrounding areas. This position will assist respiratory therapists (RT) in managing the equipment of people that have Sleep Apnea. Generally responsible for the set-up of CPAP units, will perform compliance downloads, and assist clients with mask refits. Experience in durable medical equipment, CPAP, or related field is a must, please send your cover letter and resume.

Core Responsibilites include:

·         Maintain medical records

·         Ensure that equipment is sterile and organized

·         Prepare and test devices

·         Assist in managing nocturnal oximetry orders and process

·         PAP Setups and trouble shooting

·         Responsible for calls on questions about Sleep Therapy products

·         Patient instruction on guidelines, and billing process of machines and supplies

·         Equipment Maintenance

·         Resolve patient issues

·         Reporting (Referral Log, Daily Report)

·         Downloads

·         Complete patient intake documents

·         Patient follow-up calls and scheduling of appointments

·         Assisting walk-in clients, as needed

·         Other duties as assigned




Required Skills & Experience

·         Previous durable medical equipment (DME) experience is preferred

·         1 year of Respiratory Technician or comparable experience

·         Must be dedicated to providing outstanding customer service

·         Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions and correspondences

·         High level of attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently and in team environment

·         Proficient with basic software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)


·         Ability to organize, monitor, and track numerous ongoing activities

·         Ability to logically solve problems with little supervision

·         Discretion in handling and communicating sensitive information

·         Ability to interface with customers, and office staff required

·         Ability to read, write and understand documents, correspondence, and memos required

·         Ability to effectively present information one-to-one and in group situations to customers, clients, and other employees in the organization required

·         Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form required

·         Critical thinking skills required

Preferred Requirements:

·         High school diploma or GED equivalent required

·         Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background investigation

·         Experience in the Durable Medical Equipment (DME field and administrative work)
